Mustapha Ado Bayero was born in 2000 – 2001 into the royal family of the Fulani Sullubawa clan. His father, Ado Bayero (1930-2014), was the 13th Fulani Emir of Kano and the 56th ruler of Kano.
His clan started to rule over the Emirate of Kano in 1819. He is the last son of the late emir.
Personal Life
Mustapha Ado Bayero is married to two beautiful brides Badi’a Tasiu Adam and Fatima Ibrahim Adam.
They wedded on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Markaz Imamu Bukhari Mosque, Rijiyar Zaki, and Tsakuwa Juma’a Mosque, Kano. His wives are both teenagers.
Bayero is suffering from congenital hemiplegia. He is well known for sitting with his late father in a horse-drawn carriage during durbars.
The young Mustapha sat opposite his father at a Sallah durbar. His family has many notable personalities both in the political and royal circle.
Aminu Ado Bayero and Nasiru Ado Bayero are members of his family. After his father’s dethronement by the state government, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi became his successor.
