Early Life
Bamzy Richies was born Olaiya Olatunde Abdul-Lateef on April 9, 1995. In 2016, the disk jockey relocated to South Africa. After two years, Richies started as a professional Disc Jockey.
He hails from Akure South L.G.A, Ondo State, Nigeria. He grew up in Sango Otta, Ogun State.

Their relationship trended for the wrong reason. Bamzy reportedly assaulted his girlfriend in 2022. The assault video and pictures went around on social media.
Following the assault, Bamzy was arrested. He opened a counter-case against his girlfriend and later paid for damaging her apartment and phone.
Cyan revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage in May 2022. She and the Nigerian DJ had wanted a baby when she fell pregnant. Sadly, they lost their baby earlier this year.
