Ademola is prominent for being among the seven ministerial nominees Buhari recommended to the senate. His long-term achievements have spoken more for him. After approval, he will replace Tayo Alasoadura.

Early Life

Ademola Adegoroye was born in Nigeria, a populous country in West Africa. He hails from Akure Local Government Area in Ondo State.


Adegoroye has not said anything about his academic qualifications. However, he attended primary and secondary schools in Nigeria. He reportedly did Law at the University.


Ademola Adegoroye is a prominent politician. In 2010, he vied for the seat of Deji of Akure but lost.

As a lawmaker, he represented Akure South Constituency 1 on Alliance for Democracy in the Ondo State House of Assembly.

In 2007, Adegoroye contested for governorship election under the Action Congress. He lost the election to Dr. Olusegun Agagu. 

On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari submitted his name among the new nominees to replace the former ministers.

These ministers resigned their appointments for political ambitions during their party’s primary elections. 

Ademola, in 2021, was a member vying to replace the late Adedayo Omolafe in the House of Representatives. He contested for the Akure north/south federal constituency bye-election and lost to Mayokun Lawanson-Alade.

Ademola Adegoroye is in a blessed and fruitful union. He has not mentioned his family, wife, and children to the public. Apart from his political activities, he is reportedly an Akure prince. He is a well-educated and intelligent man.

Chief Reuben Fasoranti and other prominent indigenes of Akure have hailed Buhari for nominating Prince Ademola Adegoroye as a Ministerial nominee.

Other notable leaders who hailed his nomination include Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the current traditional ruler of the Akure Kingdom.

Chief Olu Falae, who served as the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, also hailed the nomination. 

Chief Fasoranti, in his remarks, says that the president has displayed his readiness to fortify his cabinet with intelligent and educated people.
